We offer an automated answer-key analysis feature that helps users understand their performance and expected ranking. Below are key details about how we handle that data:

What we process: The answer key or responses you paste/upload, plus any optional metadata you provide (exam name, shift, category, expected group, etc.).
Purpose: To calculate your score, produce a detailed scorecard (total marks, attempted, correct/incorrect summary), compute comparative metrics (total rank estimate, shift rank, category rank, average marks, shift average, category average) and to apply normalization algorithms where applicable.
How processing works: Analysis is performed by our automated algorithms which compare your submitted answers against official or provided answer keys and aggregate results across submissions received for the same exam/shift/category to estimate ranks and averages.
Aggregation & anonymization: Where we use multiple users' submissions to compute averages, ranks, or normalization factors, we aggregate and anonymize data. Individual answer sets are not published publicly with identifying information unless you explicitly consent.
Storage: Submitted answer keys and related metadata may be stored temporarily to perform analysis, improve accuracy, and compute comparative statistics. We retain this data only as long as necessary for these purposes (see Data Retention below).
Sharing: We do not sell your answer keys or personal data. We may share aggregated, anonymized statistics (for example: average score, normalized score ranges) for research, reporting, or site improvement purposes. Identifiable submissions will only be shared with third parties under limited circumstances described in this policy (e.g., service providers under contract, legal obligations), and never for commercial sale.
